ALAWA GARDEN

No more Open Gardens for some weeks now, so my daughter suggested that I should put up some photos of our garden - not a problem as I have hundreds. BUT, my garden is much more homely and less well maintained than those I have shown you, so I hope it doesn't disappoint. I am a plant collector rather than a garden designer and I plant with no real plan.

The hydrangeas are looking stunning this year. So many different colours

The roses have had their first flush, but did the right thing for Christmas

The Agapanthus always look gorgeous. They make such a lovely show in the dry months

The front steps - unfortunately I forgot to remove the hose and sprinkler

I can never remember the name of this pretty perennial

This is my perennial garden, full of salvia and self seeding poppies and aquilegia.

If you enjoyed the shots of my garden, there are lots more on my garden blog - A Year in the Garden'. You'll find the link on this page.

Thanks for sharing my passion for a little while.

    1. Thanks Margaret. Yes it is absolutely serene. We live off the beaten track and the garden is full of birds as well.
