Photo a Day 39 - Flowers

How nice to find a flower meme (two in fact) -  "Today's Flowers"  and "Floral Friday Fotos" - so that I can engage in my greatest passion - my garden.  I could fill this meme every week for many years.

My first offering  -  magnolias  -  this beautiful dark pink one is my favourite - the paler one has the most enormous flowers..

    I have only recently found a magnolia tree that I can see over the fence, so I can admire the blossoms!! They are beautiful! Did you know they are one of the oldest flowers? They were around at the time of the dinosaurs!
