This cute little fellow is a Thornbill, but I am not sure which one - they are all so similar. Maybe a yellow or buff rumped? Hopefully someone can tell me. |

Great photos! Your birds as so colorful and different from the species I see at my feeders, so I enjoyed looking at them. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds. Love that little Firetail.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see all the colourful birds visiting your bird bath.
ReplyDeleteA charming series of captures, Liz. (I see you live in a pretty part of the Adelaide Hills - lucky you!!) The firetails are striking (no pun intended!) - I encountered my first and only sighting of these delightful birds during a few days break near McCracken, Victor Harbour, with English visitors last June. Clearly I need to get out more!
ReplyDeleteYes, we are lucky. We get quite large numbers of them - up to 30 in a group. They are cheery little birds.
DeleteA beautiful selection of birds coming to your bird bath most I was able to resognise.
ReplyDeleteLovely birds, and how nice that they all come to your birdbath. Quite a variety! We don't have such colorful birds like the Adelaide Rosella. I wish we had though.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful birds! When one things about it, it is amazing at the variety of birds and butterflies. I think I mention just those two because of all the colors involved...
ReplyDeleteWow, lovely birds visiting your bath! Wonderful photos, enjoy your weekend!
